"Pieces of the Heart"

This little gem is one of my Memories paintings. I always keep a couple of small to medium canvases hanging in the studio - any remaining paint from pieces I've been working on makes its way to these canvases. Call it artistic recycling! I started working on this one last June. I love the swirls and shapes that are created when I am cleaning off the palette - some shapes are intentional and other create themselves. Full of color and memories of other paintings - truly pieces of my heart!
