Hoopla 6” x 6” 3-Dimensional Oil is part of my Memories Series. The Memories series started off as just a way to utilize all the paint I don't use, scrape off another painting or the paint that comes off the palette knife before dabbing into another color. They have evolved into a wonderful story. I always keep a canvas on hand just for this series. Hoopla is an accumulation of paintings I have been working on since December 2022. The name, well, it’s just fun to say and this painting looks like a party! Back to the studio to create new Memories. Kerfuffle pairs well with Hoopla in a few of images below.
